Still holding the title of Europe’s best-selling crossover, the new Nissan Qashqai has been upgraded with plenty of premium features and there’s even a new Tekna+ trim level.
Detailed in their latest press release
, Nissan has focused on four areas in the updated Qashqai; exterior styling, higher levels of interior materials, improved driving performance, and new Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies.
For a more contemporary look, Nissan has revised the Qashqai’s front end with a new bumper featuring the brand’s ‘V-Motion’ grille and headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. There are even two versions of the Nissan badge depending on which trim you choose; a flat finish for N-Connecta and a more traditionally contoured badge for trims without Intelligent Emergency Braking.
Not to be left out, the interior is fitted with a new D-shaped steering wheel and better quality materials are used for the air vents and interior door handles, there’s even new stitching for the center console armrest. Of course, passenger comfort has been improved with new supportive front seats with slimmer backs for additional rear passenger leg room.
Getting the Qashqai moving are seven engine options, three of which are petrol and four are diesel powered.
Then there’s the new range-topping Tekna+ trim, which was designed to set a new premium benchmark for the C-SUV crossover segment. It comes with soft nappa leather upholstery, premium seats, 3D quilting on the centre panels with a choice of standard black leather or a rich plum colour at no cost, BOSE Premium eight-speaker audio system and more.
The new Nissan Qashqai should be hitting European showroom floors starting July.
