Spyshots of the 2017 Nissan Qashqai has been spotted and it's said to be the premium variant by publications like Autocar.co.uk.
Supposed to be called the Tekna+ and it does have camo covers over the front and rear of the vehicle indicating updated designs. Notice anything different ?
It looks like on the inside, there are 4-5 mini led projectors for the DRL. So the headlights definitely look new. The grill looks to be different as well though. Hmm... this may take them to quite an elevated stage
At the very least there will be LED tubes much like most vehicles in this segment, segments that immediately surround it and almost all segments above.
Being a vehicle as cheap and affordable as the Qashqai I can't imagine us getting a full LED setup. They know just partial LED will make us happy enough.
I just hope they don't overkill it since Nissan has been known to do that, making cars look a bit to boy racer at times when they don't need to and quite frankly this isn't the segment of buyers that it'll resonate with, unless of course they were developing a Nismo version.
A Nismo version is definitely okay to go a bit far with. But something like this needs to stay a more sophisticated type of deal. Yeah you can have some sporty accents to it but nothing over the top. Appeal to a more luxury section to an extent and call it a day.
