Bought 2020 rogue sport from dealer in September,a little over 6 months ago.
Brand new.
Less than 6,000 miles now. Tiny paint chips on hood and one door handle. 6 total. I called Nissan headquarters and they gave me a claim number and told me to take it to the dealership. I took it to the dealership. Two managers in the service department looked at it and said it was "normal wear". They said they were contact chips meaning something had contacted the paint and caused it. I'm like what's my car going to look like in a year because right now it's only six months old? I know Nissan had a paint issue in the past in 2013 (class action lawsuit) anyway they declared that it was not defective and the warranty will not cover to fix. Just wondering if anybody else has tiny paint chips on their new Nissan rogue sport?
Pearl white exterior.

Hello my Nissan Rogue Sport 2018 also have paint chip in the hood and front panels of the door when I buy it brand new. My is Glaciar White. If you want to fix it you can buy Nissan Touch Up Paint + Clear Coat Pen. The dealer and amazon sell it with the same color of your car.

I am SO disappointed. I have had my car 3 months! 3500 miles and I have over 10 paint chips, as well as several bubbles. of course Nissan is refusing to take responsibility. They are saying it is rock chips and sandblasting. 3 months, 3500 miles. This is crazy! it's amazing they can get away with this. Why haven't they improved their painting process? i don't understand. I even paid extra for all the so called environmental protections and the diamond paint protection that was supposed to be SO GOOD that nothing would effect the paint on the car. They obviously don't care about customer retention or word of mouth sales.

I am having the same problem, thus far the dealership has not done anything to help.
