Does anyone use a Fumoto Oil Drain Valve? Fumoto specified their part F103SX but said that it may not work if my 2017 Rogue Sport has recessed drain port and if "it only points toward the ground." I'm not sure what other direction you would want it to point in.

The difficult (tedious?) part of the oil change is removing the dozen or so plastic retainers holding up the underguard. Drain plug is probably the least of your worries.

I'm not sure I have the patience if the flow is slow. Never had one. YS78 is correct. The engine underguard is PITA. At the dealer w/the car on the hoist, the techs only remove the rear/side retainer plugs. Not the front ones. Let the shield hang down that way. I can't do this trick on ramps. Oil changes are a breeze w/the Nissan.

This will completely suck pan dry on my 2018 model. I will not be removing the sump plug going forward.
