No I'm not going ******* but my wife doesn't seem to be in love with the Michelin X-Ice tires that we bought. I hate to buy a new set of studded winters for it when we just put the X-Ices on last week so I was wondering if 235/70R16 tires would fit. I have an excellent set of studded Nokian Hakkapeliittas (yes it's spelled right LOL) on rims from my Escape in that size and Google says they have the same bolt pattern so I can swap tires/rims between vehicles. Google also says that 215/65R16 is the factory 16" size for the Qashqai so the Escape's tires will be a bit wider and taller on it than the current 215/60R17 X-Ice. Like 20mm wider and about 24.75mm closer to the wheel wells in all directions. I'd hate to stick them on and find out that they work fine until she hits a bump going around a corner and the studs chew out the wheel wells and scares the crap out of her.
