Nissan Qashqai vs Audi Q3

In a recent article that I was reading from Autocar.co.uk, the Premium Nissan Qashqai is priced from £30k (~$44k usd). The Audi Q3 Prestige with the AWD option comes in roughly at $41k USD. This puts them both in virtually the same price range. The Qashqai will be featuring a new body kit, white nappa leather with dark carpets, Definitely a luxurious embrace. I think it'll be quite a tough decision for consumers in that market, but only time will tell how sales will pan out.

Isn't that just a concept model? Hard to pit a concept with a vehicle that's already out.

At $44k USD I have a hard time in believing that it would be bought in numbers that can justify having it in market, instead something special done to an Infiniti QX50 (a next generation model) will be a better play and really shake things up in the segment.

If they want to compete with Audi they're going to need to improve the drivetrain.
