Hi everyone. I have a 2014 Rogue S with about 85,000 miles on it. It's starting to rust right above the windshield, presumably from rocks or something hitting the lip of the roof. Has this happened to anyone else? Does this seem like a DIY repair job, or should it be professionally taken care of at a body shop? One repair shop I took it to said they are starting to see a lot of Rogues with this problem.

Hi and welcome. I personally would take your car to a body shop. (Unless you really know what your doing and have the right equipment.) We bought our Rogue Sport is a little less than 3 yrs old. So far no problems at all. Your paint job may have been defective from the day it was painted? If that's all that's wrong w/your car, I would consider yourself lucky! How's the transmission holding up? (Pan drop/new filter/s and new NS-2 fluid?) That's the only thing that worries me slightly on our RS. Good Luck!

My '17 have the same spots, it really hurt me when i first saw it because it's a difficult area to repair, have to remove the windscreen and after repair it will not fit the same. I tried moving the inner panel and sprayed alot of Fluid Film as close to the location as possible, sprayed outside too and don't clean it when i wash.
