I have a 2018 sport sl and it came with the 19"tires. I was wondering if I could possibly go to like a 17" rim and get a tire that's not low profile?. With a 17" I was thinking if I use a tire calculater and I could get a standard size tire as long as it was the same height as the 19" tire.

Looking at a tire calculator I sometimes refer to. https://tiresize.com/calculator/

I believe you have 225/45/19's which equals a 27" diameter. The 17" equivalent would be 255/50/17 which gives you the same 27" diameter.

This tire calculator shows your speedometer would still be pretty much dead on.
